Earth is the only class M planet within our universe with sustainable life as we have an enclosed atmosphere with oxygen to sustain that life. The surrounding planets have no atmosphere and it's hard to beieve that any thing could live in the vaccum of space. I firmly believe that every star has at least one class m planet which contains life. But we can't even get out of our own universe to find out. In time that will come to pass. Providing we don't destroy ourselves first. I do not believe we are the only beings in the universes or galaxies, even dimensions. Oh, black holes are not dimensions or a portal to another galaxy, it's a phenomena we still haven't comprehended yet, but science has made some progress but it's mainly speculation because we cannot safely navigate a black hole and safely return. Black holes suck in light, darkness, planets and meteors that stray to close getting sucked in unable to escape the gravitational pull. Anything that gets sucked into a black hole is crushed
into molocules and finally disappear into nothingness, whether it be a strong gravitational pull or an implosion. I find it hard to believe that anything could survive a black hole. This is something we should not mess with for at least another thousand years when we've mastered space travel and advanced in techonology. Anyway, just pondering. Peace.

Because we've been looking SOOO hard.

We've only sent spacecraft to a couple of planets that couldn't support our kind of life anyway. We need to branch out to other solar systems - but for the moment, they are too far away.

Well there are 200-400 billion stars in our galaxy alone (some galaxies can have up to a trillion stars), and over a hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe...so I'd say we have pretty long way to go before we've searched them all.

Most likely because they come to visit us instead. There are probably those who are taken to other planets to see what their worlds are like as an example of their good nature or cultures. What would you think if you were them visiting our world?....Hostile? If we were truly an evolved species we would have achieved many more advances than we now currently have. There wouldn't be the doubt or the questions like this one.

Earth does not have the necessary technology to stay AND find aliens in deep space. All we have is a space station with no place to put a gun.

This is because the galaxy and universe and infinite and there are too many planets to look on.

More than likely, you would have to go to a different solar system to find aliens.
