Give me valid points as to why it should or should not have the video ref system!

The reason I say this is because in Rugby League, it has stopped piontless arguments with the ref, and it has made the game fairer! (especially when I shouted at Australia's Wille Mason during the Rugby League Tri-Nations "MASON YOU CHEATING B*****D!!!" for elbowing St Helens and Great Britain player Sean Long in the head!

really should have it! there's enough money in the sport to get it set up. as for people saying it will slow the game down,as you said there would be no reason for the crowding refs which then takes loads of sorting out! They could also use it like in tennis were the team manager can ask for an incident to be looked at but if there wrong twice they can't ask for another!

Definitely should first of all because of pedro mendes goal against man u when he played for Spurs, the ball was about 3 yards past the goal line but when it happened the liensman was looking at his watch, another time which i admit this even though im a liverpool fan, was when liverpool v chelsea champions league semi final 2nd leg, luis garcia hit the ball and gallas cleared on the line
but linesman wasnt in line with the ball and called it as a goal, so if the video referee was in pace they could have noticed those 2 goals had both goals would have completely changed the results, and chelsea might have wonour champions league final and spurs might have come fourth instead of 5th.

I dont think there is a valid reason why it shouldnt be introduced, perhaps it would have stopped the 'diving' in the sport, ie. australia gettign knocked out of the world cup, I think though you would only be used in for incidences inside the box, if you used it for anything else you would ruin the flow of the game and its integrity.

you would also have to be careful that you dont ruin the chance to counter attack by the goalkeeper.

anyway I am with you on this

no NO NO NO NO, football is a game that has been played for years without video help. It would ruin the randomness of the game. Ok i agree that sometimes refs can "get it wrong" but it always works both ways

American soccer, isn't something like rugby. They flow out with padding, helmets and face make up. they'd not survive rugby 'cos it somewhat is for real men. do no longer see many individuals interior the U.ok. taking part in rugby, like i stated in the previous, that's a guy's sport.

no way, it makes the match more fun when you see something the ref hasnt. its great fun knowing that youve got all the fans behind you and that when you start singing our song, everyone else joins in and when the ref gives it to the other team and you know that its not fair and we all join together to show were the better team than the other losers playing!

Yes it would stop bad feelings by the team who think they have been wronged, and would make the end result fair.
