I have week od betta fry I see them picking at the green algae on the back wall of the tank are they eating it? Im feeding them micro worms and brine shrimp

In their native environment,they live in algae rich still water.It's a

Yeah, young bettas will pick at algae. However, it is more likely that they are eating the infusoria that live on the algae. These are small micro-fauna, great food for bettas!

Bettas are carnivores. Your babies are eating the microscopic lifeforms living in the plants because they are not all big enough to manage the food your feeding them yet. My question is why is there algae in your baby tank?!

Yes they probably are eating the algae. Its good for them, they are getting there "vegetables" lol. Crushed flake food would be good for them aswell as what you are already feeding.
