I'm thinking of getting this RPG (for the PC) & just would like people's view on the game, especally -
- A basic summery / over view of the game
- Good / bad points of the game
- Is it easy to play?
- Is it worth the money & online fee?
- What do I need to buy / what order (as in the basic game & expansions)

Thanks

World of Warcraft is based off Blizzards successful game..Warcraft...In the beginning you choose your side (horde/alliance) there are 4 races to choose from and coming soon 1 new to each with the expansion. You then can customize your creature anywhere from the type and color of hair to the tusks. When you're done you enter the world, and start out at the noob city.

Good-
Its a great game with loads of things to do.
Each race is different in their own way.
Loads of people on so your never to far away from anyone.
Hours and hours of fun gaming

Bad-
Addicting
It can get repetitive if you create more then 1 of the same race.

It is very easy to play, it doesn't take a genius to figure out everything. Controls are nice and easy and the game eases you into all of your talents, and professions.

I believe it is worth the money, game only costs like 20 or 30 dollars. And the monthly fee is easy to cover considering much of the WoW population is made up of minors that pay for it.

You get the basic game World of Warcraft and install all of the new patches that have come out. When you're done, you sign up and you're in. The expansion hasnt come out yet, but you will need to purchase that after you have installed the original one.

Hope that helped. :)

Ok, you start off as either a horde or an alliance. You do quests and kill monsters to gain experiance which helps you gain levels. When you gain levels you can learn new skills (and talents starting at level 10). Once you get to a higher level, if you a horde, you can go fight the alliance or vice versa.

It's a pretty good game. They have about 7 milliion people subscribed so you can see a lot of people like it. The game is gigantic! The max level is 60 (soon to be raised with the expansion), and it takes a while to get to level 60. I think it cost $14.99 a month though so it's a little expensive.

It's an easy game to learn to play because of all the tips the game starts you off with.

Because it's such an addicting game, I'd say it's worth the money because when people play it, they play it a lot.

You just need to buy the game at a local Walmart, Best Buy, Target, or any other place you can buy games. Once you do that you go to www.worldofwarcraft.com and sign up to make your account and pay. The expansion is coming out soon to have new races!

It's overall a fun and addicting game to play.

It's the paid variation of GW with inferior graphics and even worse botting, why should you pay for a game that has people breaking the rules.

Personally, I'd suggest something like NWN, NWN2 or GW.

And let's say that you can't afford to play the game after a while, or you no longer have an internet connection, that £9 a month has gone to waste.

Paying £108 a year for a game that in all logical sense should be free, is a joke.

the game itself is basically get your chosen charater to the highest level which is lvl 60 (lvl70) with expansion pack.you can choose from many differant character and choose horde or alliance, good points off the game is it will keep you bizzy for many an hour ull find it hard to turn off,bad points same as above lack of sleep really.it is easy to play when you get the hang of it i wouldnt say there was n e think particully hard about the game play,
i would say it is worth the money and i dont think i am alone on that 1.
i would recommend getting the basic game first, and then when you realise its a brilliant game get the expansion,

hope this helps

- It's your basic sword and sorcery epic stuff, elves, demons, orcs, gnomes, all that malarkey.

- GOOD POINTS:
--vast amount of content to get through and some truly spectacular setpieces. Graphically beautiful.

- BAD POINTS:
--only ubernerds can command the mathematical skills and patience required to create great characters.
--Higher level players regularly grief/gank (maliciously kill for fun) lower level players.
--While the characters are beautiful, they all look like each other so you'll never tell your orc/elf/centaur/whatever apart from any other apart from by their gear.
--Requires large tranches of time to play, much of which will be spent carrying out boring activities like mining, fishing and component gathering.
--Will SERIOUSLY damage your social life to the extent that it's being trialled as a birth control method in China.

- Easy to pick up, but a cliff-type learning curve past the basic levels.

- Not really worth the money, because you also have to pay for expansions.

- Starter pack, get Burning Crusade later if you're still playing.

As others have said, this is a very poor choice for a first Massively Multiplayer game.

City of Heroes (link below) is much easier to play, has friendlier people, masses of content and best of all, doesn't require two to three hours of clear time to play - you can boot it up for ten minutes and have a good time, or sit there for six hours and never be bored. AND THERE'S NO MINING TO DO!

The "Latter Day Saints" has consistently been a subtitle. So the church does not de-emphasize it. the clarification the subtitle is there is twofold. a million because of fact it separates us from the occasional church that pops up with a matching call. The church you observed replaced into in all probability a distinctive church. 2 it identifies us as a restoration, or in different words it gadgets us different than for the Church of Jesus Christ of historical Saints.
