it is extremely normal! i just found out that i am pregnant too and i also have light cramping. it all started around the time i was suppose to have recieved my period and never did, they have never gone away. it is the ligaments stretching and your uterus swelling for whats to come in the future. if the cramping because too intense then you may want to contact your doctor, the cramping should never be so painful u feel like you are going to fold over. good luck, enjoy all the new baby symptoms = ) and congrats!!

I have had four children, and I had slight cramping with all of them, it is very normal. But if the cramping is accompanied by any blood at all, call your doctor immediately or go to the ER. When you are pregnant your body goes through all kinds of changes, and its better to ask or get checked than to worry about it, because stress can be very bad on you and the baby. It sounds like you are doing just fine sweetie :o) Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Yes it is completely normal. They do feel like menstrual type cramps but as long as they aren't so severe that you are doubled over in pain and there is no bleeding you should be fine. I had these types of cramps up until about 8 weeks. I get them now (14 weeks) but they don't feel like they did before.

It is possible that you might be experiencing your uterus expanding. This happened to me in both of my pregnancies. However, please make sure you go to your prenatal visits. You may want to talk to a doctor to be on the safe side.
