Years ago there was a root beer called "Frosty", it was the best. But now, nothing beat a frosty mug of A & W on a hot day.

#1 is IBC RootBeer in a bottle, Barq's a good second (can or fountain). A Root Beer float made with IBC Rootbeer and french vanilla ice cream is THE BEST!!! :-) I also like Stewart's root beer- very authentic - it tastes the way A&W used to taste...

Barq's. There used to be Hire's Root Beer that was very good, but I haven't seen it in years.

I miss the drive in A&W. Nothing beats their root beer in a frosty mug.

I agree, they have the best, especially when it's on tap. Yum! Try it at the A&W restaurants, I hate root beer from a can now.
