I would love to visit Scotland in a hired car. I live in the North East of England and have always been impressed with the beauty of Northumberland. But Scotland? I really would love to tour Scotland for two weeks, whilst dressed a bit like Billy Connolly and talk like him. I want to see Ben Nevis and the Loch Ness. Eh, and all the better places too.
Unfortunately, with all the kids I have, that plan will have to wait. But when the time comes, I'll be so excited to say the least.

Yes. It's a great place for a holiday. Edinburgh is amazing - try a sausage and chip supper from a chip shop - cool! They still use ONE POUND NOTES - how cool is that? Loch Katrine is beautiful, you can visit a whisky distillery (fascinating, and I don't even drink), go to see the Burrell Collection in Glasgow, go to South Queensferry (near Edinburgh) and stand under the old Forth Bridge and watch the trains go across above you and visit beautiful little towns in the Borders such as Kelso and Galashiels. You'll be glad you went.

I was born here and have lived here most of my life . If you have never been to Scotland then may i suggest that you avoid the larger cities and visit some of the smaller towns and villages . The scenery is quite breath-taking and the people are so friendly and open . You will always receive a warm welcome no matter where you go .

Yeah a few times, depends what part but most of it is great if you like the countryside, if you go walking check yourself for ticks when you get back, those buggers look like spiders, hook into your skin and suck your blood. Not nice!

yes, it used to be full of Scottish people with a clear identity and proud heritage, but it has suffered the ravages of unbridled immigration the same as everywhere else
