Haha. I've never heard that before. I hope it's not true. If it is, my friends and I have lost a bunch. I know it's bad for your neck though. One of the members of slipknot had something wrong with his neck because of extreme headbanging.

Every time you headbang your brain slams against the jagged bone on the inside of your skulll and causes small abrasions. That.s because your brain moves at a slower rate than your head. These small abrasions most likely heal on their own. In other words you're causing minor brain injuries.
