The surefire way is to completely lock out your computer. You can leave it running but lock it from being used depending on your operating system (Windows, Linux).

A less reliable method is to use a firewall to block out myspace.com. It can be bypassed by using proxies. Witness the number of people asking how to bypass blocks at their school for myspace. And it can be done.

Another thing you can do (on Windows) is to edit your hosts file. Have it so that myspace.com reroutes to google or something. Also unreliable, but if you don't have a firewall...

If you have a router (like for DSL) the router often includes a firewall. Within there, you could enable URL blocking and prevent then from going directly to myspace.com. This will NOT prevent them from using a proxy server to get to myspace though.

The firewall may also have other blocking which includes keywords. If you listed myspace as a keyword, it wouldn't let the requested page come up. This will then stop the proxies.

Or, you could change the settings so that only specific internet sites are accessable while you're away. Then they can only go to where you know about.

Best thing though, tell them they are not allowed to go there while you're not home and if they do, you'll take away their privs to use the computer. Let them know you can see where they've been so that there's no issue.
