its a pirate movie, and this girl needs to find the treasure before her evil uncle (named mad dog) does. she follows a treasure map and its tatooed on somebody's skin or something. she finds the treasure at the end and confronts her uncle. she says "bad dog!" and fires a cannon at him or something. please, does anybody remember this movie?? it has been bugging me for days!

1995's 'Cuttroat Island', directed by Renny Harlin, starring his, then, wife Geena Davis and Matthew Modene (Vision Quest). Frank Langella played her uncle 'Mad Dawg'. The movie was a box office bomb but IT IS GREAT!!!!!!!! One of the BEST pirate movies I've ever seen! Check it out :-)

I think you're thinking of the one with Geena Davis? It's called Cutthroat Island.
The only other two that I can think of with a map tattooed on skin is Waterworld and The Count of Monte Cristo.
