I need to nominate a student at my school for admision into the harvard athletic department. Last year i had received a letter from harvard asking to nominate any students that met certain requirements (academically/athletically) , but this year i did not. I have a 6 foot 3 , 300lb defensive tackle , senior who is more than capable of competing at the div 1,2,3 level. Academically he received a composite score of 28 on the ACT and has a 3.2 GPA, futhermore, he has taken several "advanced" classes. Im just trying to find out how I go about relaying this information to Harvard , I know that it was one of his first choices but so far he has already been offered several full-rides to other local universities. Thank-you in advance for any information.

Most schools have a "first contact" policy, which states that athletes outside of a certain area must contact them first, before any recruiting can take place.

I would contact the AD's office or the Football program at Harvard and let them know that you hae a kid they may be interested in taking a look at. They will tell you what to do from there.

I suggest starting with the AD's office, just to cover the bases and avoid recruiting violations.

You should either contact their athletic director or the football coach.
