usually i do pour out wat i've got on the heart wen i have to write somthing poetic.. so i guess if u're in love or even interested in someone, u shudn't hesitate to write a poem abt ur feelings.
sometimes people write abt betrayal or their loneliness. so write somethin that really comes deep from ur heart n hold meaning in ur present state of mind.

I used to be in 6th grade while I began writing poetry. For a few intent, I used to be going by way of a rough time and that day my "pal" used to be simply being terrible... so I went dwelling and wrote a poem. It used to be bizarre on the grounds that my mother inspiration I used to be dyslexic till I used to be like eleven (I used to by no means learn). So that used to be rather my intro to literature. I've been studying and writing like loopy ever for the reason that. Lately I have not been writing. I suppose it is on the grounds that for the primary time in a whilst, I'm completely satisfied. And I simply do not understand how to write down completely satisfied stuff. I believe like I have got to be unhappy to write down... which sucks. I desire I can begin up once more, however I have no idea.

Um...everyone, he said that HE needed to write a poem, not that he needed someone to write one for him.
But reading good poetry can help you to write good poetry. Think about poems you like. What do you like about them? Are there images that just pop out for you? Do you like poems that rhyme? That don't rhyme? Do you like poems that flow like a song, that are more like speach, or that are nothing like regular speech? Do you like poetry that is straight forward--that you can understand on first reading--or do you prefer poems that have layers of meaning that you un-peel like an onion.
Try to write a poem that YOU would like--not what you think others will. And don't get discouraged. Those poets you love to read have been working on this for a long time. Don't be afraid to try.
Honestly, I think its hard to write poetry "on cue." Usually I will be going on my everyday life and a moment will stop me, and something about it will just seem poetic...and I'll write. Or I'll hear a word or phrase and think...that's like such and such, and a poem will form out of that. But there are moments like that all the time, and sometimes stopping and thinking and remembering you can the poetry in those moments you didn't before. Since your subject is love, think about your experience with love, or if you haven't experienced it, your feelings about what you think it's like. Are there images that come to mind? Words? Emotions? That's a good place to start.

The sun shines high
upon the rose,
angel eyes smile
and twinkle my nose.
The blue sky above
so bright in the day
fluttering my heart
in the true love way.

well, it's not really true love, but i wrote this while listening to the beatles:
Why did you do that?
I thought you loved me,
Then you went and left me,
For someone else.
You've got no idea how much you hurt me,
I'd hurt you too,
But I can't.
I couldn't hurt you,
I'd be as bad as you.
I thought we could live together,
Was there something wrongg?
Why didn't you tell me?
Or maybe it just sort of fell apart.
