Well, my daughter is 13-1/2 and recently she's been playing all her old games on PS2, Rachet and Klank, Harry Potter, all the Spyro games, Pacman, Dance Dance Revolution, Simpson's Road Rage & Skateboard, Sims, etc.

She recently asked for more Sims type games for Christmas. I asked if she wanted them for the PS2 and she said that since most of her Sims games were on the computer she wanted Sims for the computer, but if she had more for the PS2 she would want them for the PS2. She only has 1 for the PS2. But the Sims type games seems to be pretty popular for both Playstation & the computer. She also asked for the new Spyro for the Playstation.

You're pretty save with Sims or Sims type games, Pacman, etc.
If you're not too sure what our child would want and you have a video game store (we have a store in town that just does games for Xbox, Playstation, Gamecube, computers, etc.) then you could get her a gift certificate for that specific store so she can browse through the store and pick the exact game she likes. Just a suggestion.

Good luck!

Harvest Moon! (OMG such an addictive sport) i love a astonishing life:) you're a farmer who searches for romance and seems after the farm :) The Sims :) (also addictive, I own all!) you're making households and administration them. in common words one you're able to have toddlers is Bustin' Out even with the truth that. Castaways and Sims 2 are my favorites (Rated T) those are my absolute faves yet I also like Guitar Hero and great Monkeyball and Spongebob Squarepants: lights fixtures, digital camera, Pants!

Katamari Damacy! Hilarious fun. You're the Prince of All Cosmos, and you roll a sticky ball around the world trying to get more and more stuff to stick to it. The bigger the ball gets, the bigger of stuff you can stick to it. You start out with little stuff like thumbtacks, then you move up to bigger stuff like fruit, then even bigger stuff like cats, bicycles, people, elephants, entire buildings...!! Hours of amusement, and a catchy soundtrack to boot.

The Sims 2. It's such a fun game! She'll love it, I promise. I spend hours every day playing it.

You get to create people and control them. You choose what they do and when.
