Certain scenes are filmed in Reno if against known landmarks.

The interior of the Sherrif's station is filmed inside the Carlson, California police station.

Other scenes are filmed in Santa Clarita and Sun Valley California.

I live in reno. No it is not filmed here. They were going to allow it but our "city" voted No on the question. So no Reno 911 is not filmed in The Biggest Little City!
