Contrary to your other answers please be aware that beetween 6 & 9 months a baby can only digest egg yolk as they find it hard to digest egg white& egg yolks must be hard boiled to kill salmonella or other bacteria , so be carefull with eggs !!

"7 - 9 months Watch baby's cues - this is particularly easy if baby nurses beforehand and most/all of the solids are offered to baby to self-feed. Increase solids gradually if baby is interested, with a maximum of 2 meals per day."

So for breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea they get breastmilk or formula and that is it. They may snack on other foods twice a day, but SHOULD NOT make a meal of them and they should not replace breastmilk/formula.

i had a lot of fun with my son when he was that age!! we had oatmeal or cereal with yogurt and fresh fruits at breakfast. lunch was either a grilled cheese sandwich and more fruit or veggies. for a snack, bananas and oranges are a great combo and easy for tiny fingers to hold. i'd hold off on grapes since they have a tendancy to put the whole thing in their mouth and could choke. dinner was usually some form of what we were eating. i tried to get him eating table food ASAP b/c those jarred things are full of preservatives and added salt and are REALLY expensive.

Here is a sample menu of the things I fed my daughter when she was that age, not including the breastmilk she had 4 times a day
Breakfast: Porridge with pureed berries/bananas/apple
Lunch: Spaghetti bolognese mushed up
Dinner: baked potato with cheese tuna and beans
2 snacks: mashed banana, cheese sticks
Hope that helps!

When my youngest grand daughter was a baby, the doctor told her Mom that she should basically have baby formula. Period.

Some teething biscuits.

But, we did give her some cereals, fruits and baby juices. At 8 months, we were starting to introduce strained baby veggies, one at a time. It used to be that these veggies were full of salt, to appeal to adult tastes. Doesn't seem to be that way any more. They seemed pretty bland to me.

Main food was formula for that first year. My daughter was not able to breast feed, so it was commercial formula.

you would need to ask a dietician, maybe weetabix with milk for breakfast, then veg for lunch with fruit for desert, and some pasta for tea, also some babymilk as well.
