i installed phptriad,while working with mysql database giving error( Can't connect to MySQL server on ) 10061

my os is win XP,i saved .php files in htdocs,they r working except
those with mysql

Check the connection string define('DB_NAME', 'xxx'); // The name of the database
define('DB_USER', 'root'); // Your MySQL username
define('DB_PASSWORD', 'mysql'); // ...and password
define('DB_HOST', 'localhost'); // 99% chance you won't need to change this value
