To download videos from YouTube and any other site :
Get Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
And then install the Download Helper extension from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3006/ or this one Video Downloader https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390
It works great for me.
Since the videos are in the .flv format you need to get a flv player. You can get a very good one (and completely free ) here http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10505954.html?tag=tab_pub
If you want to convert them into another format ( mobile phone, iPods, psp, wmv, mp4...and anything else) use this awesome free program called Super http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
Also you can use this site http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php and copy/paste the url's from the page with the video there but personally I'd recommend using Firefox
Firefox is the best !!!
And for movies and anything else use http://www.torrentportal.com/ and http://www.bittorrent.com/ and http://www.torrentspy.com/
To download from this site you need a torrent program like these :
BitComet http://www.bitcomet.com/ or
Azureus http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ or
uTorrent http://www.utorrent.com/download.php

Yes, I do all the time and today I will tell you how.
1) Go to the 1st link I gave you.
2) Open another Internet window and go to YouTube.
3) Go to the video that you want to download. Copy the whole http address of the page that is playing your desired video.
4) Go to the 1st page from the link I gave you. Paste the copied YouTube address into the space provided in this website.
5) Click "Get It". Wait a moment. Below the space where you pasted the address a icon should appear that says "Download Link". Right Click it and select Save Target As.
6) When you get that window that asks you where you want to save the file on your PC & name of file, go and name the file what you like but make sure you end the name with either .flv OR .mpeg
7) Click "Save". Either file format should work fine but with some computers it won't play the video if you saved it with .mpeg
If this is the case you must then download YouTube videos and end the file name as .flv
If you chose to download YouTube files as .flv
-------------------------------------------------------------
1) Go to the 2nd link
2) Choose to download one of the listed FLV Players. They are all very small files and also all FREE and virus-free and you don't have to be a member of the site. I personally have the 1st one on that list.
3) Once downloaded any videos on your PC saved as .flv will play.

Hope this helps.
