Not as long as money controls it. The amount of money spent on campaigns is staggering and as long as elected officials feel so obliged to "pay" back that debt how can we? I'm hopeful that with the new Democratic House/Congress we can start seeing more bi-partisanship developing for the good of the country not just those who put them in office.
