I don't think so... As long as you limit to how much you are playing, you will be fine! Here are some tips on how to stay in touch with your real life...
1. Play for around and hour or two then get some rest
2. Get some fresh air and play outside
3. Stop playing and go to the movies or something with your real friends
4. Make sure to eat and drink and go to the bathroom

I think so, especially ones like WoW where you make so many friends online you lose touch with your real friends. Also games like weffriddles sometimes completely seperate families. I've seen it before. I had a friend who started playing WoW and not only did his GPA drop 3 points in a year, but he doesn't have any friends except ones who play WoW with him. He's never going to amount to anything in the future so don't follow his path, but I've also seen people who can be fine with playing video games because it helps them escape their real life, find the balance.

I would hope so. If not, then what's the point? People play games for fun, and you can't have fun if your mind is focused on bills and other stressful things. As long as you're not playing all the time (unless you're one of those new pro-gamers) then what's the problem?
