1. Yes. They are sending insurgents in to disrupt our plans to build a Democratic society in Iraq.

2. The plan ultimately, is to destroy Israel and draw America into a larger war in the Middle East.

3. My take is that they want nuclear capabilities in order to destroy Israel and any western interests in the region.

4. Slim and none if you have seen Iran's leadership speaking on media only shown in that region. They indicate there will be only one outcome. The destruction of Israel and America.

5. I have serious doubts of the real commitment of Iran to "work out differences". They are not trustworthy.

NOTE: I am sorry, I tried to keep answers short. Did my best. Thanks.

Being Shite, Iran would have an influance on the situation in Iraq

I think Iran is very leary of both the US & Israel. Remember the US overthrew the elected government of Iran in 1952 and put the shah on the throne. He set up a secret police that could have taufgt the KGB & CIA quite a bit about Torture. Israel is a nuclear power and the threat of the Zionists is to extend Israel to the Euphrates River in Iraq. Also , the US backed Iraq, supplying Iraq with weapons and poison gas during the war between the 2 countries (1980s)

I think, they are justified in wanting Nuclear arms, considering Israel, the USA, Pakistan, India, & Russia all have them. I trust that they would use them as a deterant only.

4- Ithink open dialogue among The US, Iraq, Syria, & Iran is the only way to prevent a major upset in the area
5- Apeaceful and constructive solution is possible, but will require a great deal of compromise on the part of everyone involved.

Answers to your questions..

1). Iran CAN havea significant amount of influence on Iraq at the moment. The reason is, even though Iraq and Iran do not like each other, they are becoming closer and friendlier to on another due to the US policy of "dual containment" that the Clinton administration pursued in 1994. Dual containment is the policy in which the U.S. has tried to contain the two nations in order to prevent the two from harming or using military force against other nations in the region.

2). Iran is a "back lash state" therefore can pose no real military v. military threat against either of the two, however, their possible acquisition of WMD's is real and would be no surprise if they tried to use them against Israel and the U.S.

3). Iran most likely has nukes, or the technology to make them.

4). The possiblitly of an agreement may be slim to none, Iran has always been defiant in the face of the U.S. and international community. May take a prayer for there to be any formal negotiations.

5). I dont feel there will be any resolution in the near future. Iran has a radical ideological political stance, and are extremist in their views. Personally, I feel we should just nuke the place.

1. Of course it does, however piecemeal.
2. Destruction (even if it is a dream).
3. Of course its bad for any rogue nation (any nation who acts without regard for its fellow nations) and of course its BAD. They have no regard for anyone but themselves. Even children are taught better than this.

There's only one solution.
