I have a few usual ones, I am extremely claustrophobic so much so I cant even wear a motorbike helmet! Ain't too great with heights, but my two biggest are any living thing that can fly and being a passenger in a fast moving car, which i think comes from an accident i had, 80m.p.h into the back of a people carrier really hurts, especially without a seat belt (always wear one now).

My gosh, I never realised how much i get scared by, yet i can pick up big spiders bare handed and throw them out the door!!!

A close friend of mine is frightened by some things, tinned spaghetti and spaghetti shapes, baby dolls - especially if they make sounds and move!, and porcelain dolls.

i have an irrational fear of meeting new people, and talking to strangers on the phone, i always get the feelin i'm going to look/sound stupid infront of them, i often get my self into such a state i vomit or get panic attacks.

I hope that if i keep exposing myself to my fear things will get better, if anyone else suffers from something similar i would reccomend going to see a doctor. i however, would rather try and deal with it myself. The thought of having to go through the whole, phoning for an appointment, sitting in a waiting room and then telling some stranger i am an antisocial freak does not appeal, but good luck to anyone that chooses that route,

i know it probably sounds really stupid to most people, but there you go. I guess i'm just abnormall

I'm really scared bugs, but i'm even more scared of going into the bathroom in the dark. When I was really little, my friend told me a story of Bloody Mary. You go into the washroom when it's completely dark, and you lock the door, and then you chant her name 3 times. If you're lucky, she'll appear and leave, leaving behind a bloody knife, and if you're unlucky, she'll kill you. Ever since that story, I've been really scared, and will freak out if someone turns off the lights while I'm in the washroom. My friend always turns off the lights, and then my body starts to shake, and I get so scared.

I've always had a fear or food processors, waste disposal units, garden waste chippers and big saws from workshops.

I have nightmares about family members and friends and even random people being chopped up and minced.

and recnetly since watching hostal i've developed a fear of chainsaws, drills and anything electrical that can sever limbs or shred skin and bones.

when I was about 30 (20 yrs ago), I developed a sudden and intense fear of heights I'd not had before. When I see a parachute jumper on tv, I tremble, pictures of the grand canyon terrirfy me. this sudden phobia does not affect me when I'm in flight, even at 35,000 feet. strange.

My fears are old age I am on the threshold of it and it isn't good, I am not afraid of dying (easy to say) I am not afraid to meet God but I do fear that he/she is just a fairy tale, if life after death is a fairy tale then I have nothing to fear at all.

I have a fear of caves, going inside of pyramids and such. Basically underground spaces where you can't see the entrance. I can make myself go in but I'm not comfortable. It must be my fear of the unconscious :)))

i get freaked out when i'm home alone and i don't have too much to do, because then i start hearing things and i think people are in my house and in the basement. sometimes i think i hear the tv or the printer on, but then when i check on them, they're off. also, if i'm playing the piano, there's one note than when i hit it it sounds like somebody is walking on our creaky wood floors. its really freaky.
