"Sin" is entirely a concept of religion, and has nothing to do with what is normal or healthy, only with what is prohibited in a particular religoin. What "sin" is varies greatly from one religion to another, so any kind of rational analysis based on "sin" is impossible.
Every human male masturbates. EVERY human male. Any human male that tells you he doesn't or never has is a liar. Additionally, most male mammals of every species masturbates in some form. Anything that widespread and common pretty much has to be natural, normal. As far as "healthy" -- masturbation is not physically harmful in any way. Psychologically it *can* be a problem, only if a certain male prefers masturbation to normal sexual relations with other humans to the point that he stops having normal sexual relations with other humans. That's really a social issue, though, and not a health issue. Like any other activity that produces intense feelings of pleasure, some people can be prone to addiction -- which is once again a social issue, not a health issue. There is nothing physically unhealthy about masturbating 20 times a day if you're physically able -- but in our society such a person would be considered to have social problems.

Its NORMAL To J/O. I Would Go So Far As To Say That It Wouldn't Be Normal If You Wasn't Doing It. Some Guys Do It Everyday, Multiple Times A Day. A Lot Of Us Guys Do It When We Cant Fall A Sleep And It Helps Us To Relax and Get Rest. It Doesn't Matter How Often You Do It As Long As You're Not Missing Important Things, Meetings and planning your whole day around masturbation. But If You Feel Like Fainting, Then You May Have A Problem, Although I Suspect That Your Urge To Faint Has Something To Do With The Fact That You Still Believe Masturbation Is Wrong, So You're Mind Is Playing Games With you. TRUST ME, MASTURBATION IS NORMAL.

I believe that 100% of men masturbate and that it is healthy and normal. If you don't masturbate you will most likely have erotic "wet dreams" and might very well feel more guilty about the content of the dreams than about the masturbation. Masturbation during marriage is another thing entirely. It is a bit of an insult to an otherwise willing and compliant wife to masturbate, and currently I believe, from what I have read in the media, that online pornography is causing a lot of marriages to falter. Isn't it a sin in those circumstances? As for recovering energy, a healthy individual should have no problem unless it is really excessive.

Masturbating is perfectly normal. I think a long time ago parents and other elders tried to scare boys about doing this as well as some religious groups. They said it would harm you and told all sorts of things that would happen to you. All it did was give a boy a big guilt trip every time and a lot of frustration. It is normal and 5 to 6 times a week is not excessive. Still gives you relief and an outlet for tension.

i think its healthy up to a certain point. i was talking to a friend a month ago about this and he actually had to do a report for school. The class he took was people who are addicted to masturbation. He said that most of them masturbated being married and enjoyed it more it was tearing up theyre relationships. He said it was like an addiction. Trippy huh i would have never thought.

I think masterbating doesn't do anything to your eternal life because as long as you don't use porn or think of anyone then you will be ok. There is no real cure to masterbating then to have sex. So if you really want to cure urself then marry someone and have sex because then it is not inmoral at all.

It is not sinful and it is not harmful, unless you're doing it wrong. Thanks to fundamentalist preachers, they would have any sex act as being wrong, except between a married man and woman in the missionary position.Puullleeeeze.

With the exception of some of the religious groups, it is widely accepted by rational people than masturbatiion is harmless and indeed more practical than letting things "dribble out when full".
If you enjoy it, do it - it will do you no harm.
