I would return to school and work on learning to write.
But! I have had my children and I'm some what glad.
I do live alone and have mixed feelings. The peace is enriching, the silence deafening. Nature is overwhelming. Solace at sunset or sunrise is religious. My vistas are breath taking. But alone is sad, there is no one to share. Not by choice but no one is interested either.

You did tell her to get f*cked. Don't try and justify it on a technicality. My mother in law is exactly the same as yours. Be a bigger person and kill her with kindness. If I can deal with her sarcastic remarks in the delivery room 15 mins after my daughter was born surely you can deal with some crappy presents, she is in another country for god sake! No matter how frustrating it is, suck it up. You threw the rings, were rude to his mother refused to let him sleep even though you knew he was mad and a sleep probably would have helped him calm down, you have sex with him to try and fix the problem then complain because it was rough not passionate, and you want him o cuddle you and buy you a new ring....Grow up, I don't condone hitting anyone, he should never have done that, but you really need to take a long hard look at yourself and perhaps stop drinking.
