its not that im not mature enough, its that im scared. when we first started going out he hit me and i no he doesnt like kids

First off it's college.... a collage is something entirely different.
First ask your boyfriend how he feels about having kids.... watch his reaction, if he seems agitated about it, wait until he calms down before you tell him. If he seems ok with it, or even uncertain, you should tell him right away. Waiting til you are showing is not a good idea. Whatever you do DO NOT let him talk you into an abortion, unless its an option you were already considering. Remember that the baby did nothing wrong to be punished for. If you decide you are not ready for motherhood, there are families out there waiting to be parents, but cannot have kids on their own. What greater gift could you give?

I'm sorry. I got my girlfriend pregnant when i was still really young and it was scary as hell. I was so unreceptive to her telling me. i wanted to be supportive, but i wound up being like a selfish *** and i only came in to help her in her seventh month of pregnancy. I don't regret many things in my life, but that's a definite one. My wife forgives me now, though.
My advice, tell him outright. don't sneak around him. YOu're the one who has more to deal with than him, so tell him, and then it's all about you. He is just a boy like i was, so he's not going to know what to do anyway. You're the one who is boss now; you have all the control of ideas and outcomes. Whatever you may choose, it lies with you - don't let him color it - a lot of what he says will be fear talking. If you're lucky enough to have a guy who's willing to stick by and help as much as he can, good for you.

He knew the risks and decide to play anyway. So, be a grown up, tell him, and then leave him to mull it all over for a couple of days. Do not expect an initial thrilled reaction. You've had time to adjust some. Give him the same. And if you are considering abortion, web search an 11 wk. old fetus first!

If your in college and not mature enough to tell your boyfriend you got some major issues you need to work on before becoming a mother. I don't know what else to tell ya! All I can say is good luck.

I discovered I was pregnant about 5 days ago. The father smokes a lot, so what I did was put the pregnancy test inside an empty pack of cigarrettes and switch it with the one he was smoking from. Then .... just waited until he wanted to grab a smoke and .... SURPRISE!!!! I didn't have to tell him, it was sooo easy!

Just tell him, it let it out of your system. And if he breaks up at least he'll know the truth, so that when this baby is born he at least knows that he has a child in the world!

when i told my son's father i was pregnant, the only thing i did was put the hpt in a plastic bag and left it in his room in eye sight. it was great, he knew and i didn't have to worry about chickening out.

you need to tell him asap. this is his baby too. don't be afraid of telling him. if he gets upset he's a jerk because you didn't make this baby on your own. it is better to tell him now, if you hide it from him he could get upset about it.
