Martha's Vineyard is an island surrounded by warm salt water and it tends not to have snow, but being part of New England, there's a chance you could have foot one day when you wake up. I hope you get to see the snow. I feel bad for people who haven't, because it's so beautiful. If you really want to see snow, take a trip north into the mountains of New England. There's snow on the mountains now.

In all my many years in MA, I can't think of many where we had snow around Christmas. Sometimes you'll get a surprise storm in late November or in December, but somehow it almost never works out to be around Christmas. It can be downright chilly though.

It's even less likely that you'll get snow on the island - the ocean waters will make it just a bit warmer there, and if it's snowing over the mainland with a surface temp of 31 degrees, it'll be raining on the island with a surface temp of 34. I hope it snows for you, just not making any promises. Sorry.

yes it does snow but the salt air keeps it low when it snows in Mass it snows good I have been up here for 18 years and I have seen my share of snow you can go to bed at night and wake up with a foot or more of snow
