she is a pretty girl, slim with a good voice.. I just find it a bit strange.. I am sure there are people out there would like to be her.. yet she acts so sort of .. wooden..and introverted..

well I'm not so sure I agree with you. I was watching X Factor - The aftermath, last week, after the MacDonald's were voted out, and the three remaining contestants were shown relaxing on the Sunday morning, reading the papers and some fan mail. Ben and Ray were reading letters out that the other two had received and generally being good spirited, she didn't reciprocate, she didn't offer to read their mail to them.
And when they were looking through the papers to see any press coverage they might have, she appeared to be only interested in whatever there was written about herself. There was no interaction between her and the other two, she just seemed totally wrapped up in herself.
I don't like her, I've never bought that 'cute little shy girl' act and I agree with the other posters, once she wins next week she'll drop all the silly little girl act and shyness and I think we'll find she's actually very media savvy. There's just something about her eyes that tells me she's playing people for fools and she knows exactly what she's doing.
And I heart Ben

What like the same way she always pretends to cry everytime th epublic vote her in ? Oh purleaseee .. Yeah shes deserves to win in the sense that she has an amazing voice and is pretty, but imnot quite sure she has "the x factor" .. shes just another young mariah carey ... just prettier = Christina Aguilera and we already have one of those too .. so meh she'll win, but be gone in no time ..

Because she hasn't got the X Factor,but BEN did and I'm gutted that he has gone,it was fixed as far as I'm concerned as Ben was her biggest threat,and those are Simon Cowels words,Ben is a winner in his own right and i can't wait till he gets a CD out as he has so much talent much more that the two that are left!!!

oh come along!!!! Remember Gareth Gates with that stutter? It was all an act, and so is Leona's apparent lack of self-esteem etc - you wait when (if) she wins, she will be the darling of the media and miracously be very in control of her confidence and self-esteem.
Can't believe you couldn't see that one coming.

she is sweet isnt she- she may of had a hard upbringing-mabye things are on her mind- bit under pressure. im shy aswell even tho my life is more or less great_ some people are just born wid it and no matter how hard i try to be more confident it just doesnt happen...... shell be alryt xx bless her

perhaps if she tried to be herself and not be someone else like mariah or whitney then she might have confidence.
how can you gain self esteem trying to be someone else.
Be yourself girl. sing like you and not mariah, one of her on earth is enough we do not need another.
