I do like how some older fashioned names are coming back into fashion, but i must admit that i think Audrey is on the same level as Gertrude. Its just TOO old.
Serene is a beautiful name.
Perhaps you would like to look at this list of names which i think Serene would go well with, keeping true to the style of classic names.

Jaquilin Serene
Kimberly Serene
Brigette Serene
Anastasia Serene

I don't like it - Audrey is an old fashioned name, and needs something similar to go with it, whereas Serene is not - you need to have names which compliment each other - Audrey Serene sounds wrong.

It's cute, I like the name Audrey spelt Audree, I also like Aubree. They are both pretty names. Serene is unique.

ok i know you don't want to hear some advice from a 13 year old but i'm gonna give some to you anyway!!! ok here's what i would do i LOVE THE NAME AUDREY BUT IF I WERE HERE I WOULDN'T WANT MY MIDDLE NAME TO BE SERENE IT SOUNDS TOO MEAN AND IT DOESN'T GO GOOD TOGETHER LIKE my name is Courtney Nicole and my barother's is Tyler Michael and my younger brother is Jace Logan and my new baby born sister is Camryn Brooke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you don't like my advice that's fine just whatever i just wanted to give you some if you wanted it perhaps!!!!!!!!!!

Don't like it much, don't like the name Audrey for a baby.
If you make it Serena Audrey that'll be ok.
Sorry, don't go by my opinion, it's a matter of taste. And you have to go by what you like.
