I don't know this for a fact, but it would seem that someone who lifted weight standing, quite a bit, could cause spinal compression and thus over time cause themselves to be shorter...

Do some research online and see if you can find any reports or articles on this.

your age probly say more about it than anything.....
as we age our discs in back and knees get thinner
and it can add up to an inch and more

weight lifting usually helps prevent this though, unless your
developing bad posture

no lol unless you are old or have broken a bone it is imposible to shrink due to weight lifting lol
