What is the best way to prepare for getting a tattoo b/c i was thinking about taking a Sewing needle or a needle used for Giving shots and start poking myself with it so i can get used to the needle getting poked in me any other suggestions

tattoos don't even hurt all that much. and its getting poked so fast with a needle it looks like its staying in one place so its basically like... someone cutting you. lol don't worry seriously my stomach one TICKLED and the on eon my back hurt it was usually a 3 on a pain scale but when he went over my bone or drew curves it went up to a 6-7. overall you'll make it harder on the artist if you squirm and it might make him/her mess up. It's not that bad. really... after a while like .. 2-3 minutes into it you dont really feel it as much cuz the machine is vibrating on you. It sounds kind of sick but after a while it sort of feels like a massage LOL. idk 2 tattoooooosssss :D

Oh jeeez. Are you for real?
Quit crying, take some motrin or something before you go in and if you still think you can't handle it, go to the drugstore and get some aloe with lidocaine and rub it on the area before you do it. This might not even help, but it might psych you up.
Don't stick needles in yourself for goodness sake.

Every needle poke you do on your own could be one less that the tatoo artist has to do.
Just own up and get it.
