Conservatives are obsessed with putting morals back in this Country. Libs are obsessed with putting America on a path of self-destruction. Liberals enjoy the American way of life but than they act as though they would rather see us have the freedoms of North Korea and the income of Haitians. Its not a question of rather Libs are obessed with gays, its the question of why Libs want to see America fail as a country and a society

Who's obsessed with gays? I don't think people on the left are. Live and let live is hardly obsessing about anything. Jumping into someone's private life and worry about whether or not they get married might be.

I'm not obsessed with gays. I think it's a handful of people on here who are, liberals and conservatives alike who are probably obsessed with immoral lifestyle. And I don't relate to immoral lifestyles. You are generalizing.

What do you mean why are we so obsessed? I could care less if someone is gay or straight. I just see gay people as anybody else. People like you that say they're immoral are the ones with the obsession. They're not equal to you, but they are to me. So tell me. Who has the obsession?
The only "obsession" I may have is to get equal rights for everybody. It disgusts me that there are people in this nation that are oppressed for any reason, be it race, gender, sexual preference, or whatever.

On the contrary, it is far-right conservatives who seem obsessed with homosexuality.
Liberals just want people to have equal rights, gay or not. They want people to have the freedom to do whatever non-harmful activities they want in their own homes and bedrooms. But those freaks who show up at gay people's funerals with signs that read "God hates fags"? Conservatives. Those people who fill our election ballots every election year with anti-gay marriage initiatives? Conservatives. Those employers who fire people because of their sexual orientation? Conservatives. Those ******* who took time out of their lives to beat up Matthew Shephard & tie him to a fence post to die of exposure? Conservatives.
By no means am I suggesting that all conservatives are obsessed with homosexuality or are gay bashers or homophobes. Far from it. But to say that liberals are obsessed with homosexuality, in comparison to conservatives, is ridiculous.

These gay people for whom you refer to are currently fighting in a war for which you must be too cool for, obviously. They where persuaded to protect their freedom to "immorality" along with the freedoms you so enjoy. The liberals think they deserve recognition for their actions where as you do not.
