Yes and No. You dont want to become to angry because if you do you might break something, just like the time when my Dads team scored a touchdown and put his fist through the window and shattered the glass. Wow what memories.

Well, yelling distracts both players even if it's meant to encourage one of them, so I thought it wasn't allowed... At my school, we clap. Even when the opposing player double faults, we clap. Also, my school (boys team) has the same problem. During drills, we hit like Pro's but at the games...we can't hit for ****. The reason I found out from my Psychology teacher was that, during drills you're not going up against a person. You're just hitting the ball. You're afraid to make a mistake against this person because NOW YOU CAN LOSE. During drills...you can't. So, my Coach found out this too and told us to take a chance. When we started to, we noticed that the opponent's could be classified like: "Oh this guy sucks" or "This guy's pretty decent" Which then leads to: "Okay, his weakness is his backhand, I'll just aim for that." So just tell your team to take a chance, don't be afraid to hit the ball because it might be a powerful return, just hit the ball and soon you'll notice the player you're going up against isn't the best, and isn't the worst. Clearly the person is somewhere near your ranking too, unless the opposing team stacks, which is cheating.

Wanting to win is necessary. Anger is never good in any situation.

Just remember the words of coach Yoda:
"Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."

also, he said this about the return of Morten Anderson:
"When 900 years you reach, look as good, you will not."
