DUDESS.. please dont delete any programs!! it is not related to ram.
i'l give u lecture on ram on another day.

right now,you need to buy new ram or graphics card to solve your problem.

YOU ALREADY HAVE 256MB. but the problem is that 32MB of it is used by your on board graphics.(256-32=224)

if u already have a graphics card(not on board graphics),you can go to bios(by pressing F2 or DEL key soon after u start the comp) and change the amount of shared memory to 0 instead of 32.

if u dont have, simply buy new ram.

P.S
report abuse the moron who laughed at u.no one knows everything.

RAM means random access memory. The only way you can increase the amount of the ram that you have is to buy some, it is a chip, about 2 to 4 inches long and doesn't cost a lot. When you go to buy RAM make sure you know what type of RAM you need, because there are several different models and designs. The best way to buy new RAM is to have one of your chips with you in the store, for example. The more RAM you have the faster you computer will work, or at least this is one of the requirements to have a fast computer. If you need more help let me know I have yahoo IM hristomir_200 or skype: comnetbug, or write me to bgsince681@gmai.com.

Deleting programs from your system will not work since the programs are stored in hard disk and not in RAM. The information of programs that are currently executed are stored in RAM and once they finished execution the information are cleared from RAM. Your system has got 256 MB of RAM, but dont worry if the system says 224 MB of RAM. If the program doesnt run you have to upgrade your RAM.

Removing programs won't increase the RAM in your machine. Only adding more RAM will do that.

It sounds like you're confusing hard drive space with memory. They're two completely different things.

Check your computer docs to see what kind of RAM it uses. RAM is pretty cheap, you sould be able to upgrade to 512 megs for not a lot of money.

RAM does not mean your hard drive space. The only way to increase the amount of RAM available is to buy more. In your case you may also want to use a dedicated video card, since it would seem 32MB of your RAM is being used by on board video. Switching to a dedicated video card may also solve your problem.

RAM is not something you can obtain by uninstalling software. It is hardware you must buy or obtain and must be installed into your computer.

www.newegg.com is a great place to buy computer parts.

You will need to know how much RAM your motherboard can handle before installing more of it. A decent computer these days will have at least 512MB of RAM.

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH

removeing programs doesnt have anything to do with it.

its a ''chip'' that you plug into your motherboard (have to open computer)

the most common is DDR and you can get it in incroments up to 1 GB - 256 MB
