My daughter can do all those but stand alone which she's trying to do now at 9 months. She started sitting alone around 5 months. She says mama and dada around the latter part of her 8th months. I'm from the south and my daughter will never utter bubba. She started pulling up on things at 7 months crawled at 7 months and cruised at the end of her 7th month. She began eating solids at 5 months. She got teeth at 6 months.

Every baby is different and develops at different times or stages. My daughter will be turning 8 months in three days. She can sit up alone, can say Mama, Dada, can stand alone and is creeping backwards which is usually the first step towards crawling. She can say hi but not Nana (or Grandma) or bubba yet. She cannot pull herself up yet. She has been saying Mama and Dada for a while.

I don't have an 8 month old of my own right now. However, I have 4 kids and I have been a licensed daycare provider in my home for 20 years. Each baby is completely different. My middle daughter was an early walker and talker and she could do all of those things at 8 months. She walked at 10 months and spoke in sentences at 13 months. My youngest took her sweet time doing anything. She could sit, eat solids, and had teeth, but didn't crawl until 12 months and didn't walk around furniture until 13 months and didn't walk alone until 15 months. I am now caring for a 9 month old, he can sit alone, say mama and dada, he has 2 teeth and can eat solid foods. There are so many things that babies are learning. They all are different and reach milestones at different ages.

Sits alone. Says Dada (but not Mama or the others). Definitely doesn't stand up alone or pull herself up to a standing position. Almost crawls, doesn't walk (no 8 month old can walk!), eats baby food in jars only (and cereal), and has two teeth just coming through on the bottom.
Oops, mine is actually only 7 months old.

At 8 months your baby should be able to sit up. Mine does and the average age for that is 4-7 months.
Mine says momma, dadda, and bababababababa which we don't know what he means and it is annoying him.
He can get from laying down to sitting up and can pull himself up to standing using objects. But can not stand unassisted for more than 2 second... he likes to try though.
And all he does all day is go around the room from furniture to furniture. The day after he learned to furniture surf he learned to crawl. He could do it since age 6 months, but never did more than an inch or so. Some babies never crawl and there is nothing wrong with that.
He eats table food, has since 6 months, but generally doesn't care and gets 99% of his food as breastmilk still.
He has 4 teeth with 4 on the way.

My 8 month old baby can sit up alone, say dada, pull self up, crawl, walk while holding on furniture, eat solid food, & has two teeth.
My baby can not say mama, nana & bubba-- but he makes a bunch of different sounds.

My daughter has been crawling since 4 months, was introduced to solids around5.5 months, makes verbal noises, can sit up on her own for less than a minute now, at 6 months. Can't do anything else you've listed.
It depends on the child. Not all babies will do everything that the 'milestones' tell you.
If your baby isn't doing all of that yet, be thankful - more time to baby-proof your house. I wish my daughter didn't know how to crawl -- I had no idea how many wires there were in my house until she became mobile *twitch*

Yes, all my children did that. And one did walk by 10 months by himself.
