Vibrations when hitting with an aluminum bat kills my hands and makes me wear batting gloves, to hopefully dampen the vibrations, but are ineffective and makes me feel uncomfortable when hitting.

If I put cork in the barrel of the handle it should help.

That would make it heavier because it is hollow. The reason to cork a bat is to make it lite.
To stop vibrations, put water in it about half full. That way when you swing the weight will transfer from the handle to the end of the bat and give you a lot of power and kill the vibration.
