What's the scariest one that's out there? I'm looking for something that's fun to play and will also scare the pants right off of my hips.

I agree Eternal Darkness is great. but its kinda hard to find now. or if you have a ps2. or xbox the Fatal Frame series is creepy as hell. remember play the games in low level light or no lights at all!!!

kuon not well known but scary the graphics and feel are similar to fatal frame and i also played a game called Echo Night Beyond its fun and you just might get a scare out it. I really dont know what the scariest game is but Fatal Frame,Siren,Clock Tower 3,Silent hill series,The Suffering,and Haunting Ground are some of the best i've played.

Personally I think one of the best was Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requim for the Gamecube. After all the Resident Evil is pretty much the same games. Silent Hill would proably be a good choice as well.

Eternal Darkness for Gamecube, Condemned for the Xbox 360 or PC, Fatal Frame (i think for the PS2), and Night Trap for the Sega Genesis (its pretty old and kinda funny)
