Wait...why is this in the book area?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the book *and* the movie, both for different reasons.
I suggest reading the book first to get a hang of the lingo--and also to fully understand the meaning behind it. There's Nadsat dictionaries online to help you if you're having trouble "translating" the lingo sprinkled throughout.
The movie is hilarious, stupid, and strange. It's great in it's own way, but it doesn't compare to the book. I find the "theme" and meaning of the book is kind of obscured for the film--after all, Kubrick left out the 21st chapter because he didn't know about it at the start.
And Kubrick actually DOES leave out some of the violence and rape in the book, so be warned. The movie is more "sexual" than the book, but there were parts Kubrick watered down to be less controversial (as if!)
In both there's nudity, rape, violence, blood... not for the faint of heart.

Definitely a cult classic. Disturbing, ghastly, not a date movie, but if you're into stark social commentary, "ultra-violence" and "Lugwig Van," I'd say go for it.

The Movie is a lot better than the Book. Very futuristic. And if you like Beethovan a must see.

It's a very very very strange film. However, it's intriguing but also very violent. I also tried picking up the book, but it has it's own language and is a little hard to get through. You can try watching the film, but just so you know, Kubrick doesn't hold back on rape and violence.

It depends on your frame of mind. If it's open, you'll like it. Otherwise, you hate it...
