I used to watch the TV serial regularly when I was 5/6 years old ( in around 1987-1990). Each part of the serial used to show one fairy tale like Cinderella, The little Marmaid, Hansel and gratel etc. At the begining of the show one person used to come and introduce the story and then the story used to begin. I was so amazed by the serial that now I want to see those series again. I want to download it. If you know that please let me know. Thanks

the show was called fairy tale theater the host was Shelly Duvall I beleive, in every episode they always had celebrities playing parts of fairytale characters. I just bought the entire boxed set for my neice, I happened to find it at a BJ's wholesale club. If you got to www.amazon.com and type in fairy tale theater under dvd search they have a listing for the complete series. I hope this helped happy holidays

I remember those shows. . . they were super. I think the BBC of England produced them. Wasn't Priscilla somebody the hostess? It was "Fairy Tale Theatre", not taleS
My pbs station here in the US showed them. try asking at the local Public Broadcasting station for info. . .
