My neighbors are obsessed with doing laundry, At least 2 loads a day, everyday, for just 2 people. I share the washer/dryer and utility bill, and I was wondering how much this is costing me.

it depends on if they use hot water, you can wash everything in cold water and it will come out just fine. i think you should tell them that. if washed in cold water, you'll only be paying for the electricity to run the washer and dryer. not that much.

Look to do a load of laundry does not cost that much at all. You go to the laundry mat and it costs you 1.75 to wash a load of laundry. Now that is a little too much to be paying for a load of laundry. Look they have to make a profit too. So I would say it only cost about 25 cents to wash a load of laundry. It does not take any water to dry your clothes that is electricity. Okay now to figure out what you owe for the water bill, now that depends how much you shower and how many dishes you use to do the dishes. You brush your teeth, do you shave. See all this factors in on the water bill. So you have to figure out how many gallons of water you use. Then you can determine how much you owe on the water bill. It should not be more than 35.00 per person. It could be less to if you only have a 30 gallon water tank see all this adds in. Well good luck.

Most washers or dryers use about 2000 watts per cycle, plus 40-80 gallons of water depending on washer size. I would see how much you pay for water and electric and try to figure it out.

Just the washer probably uses 50 cents per load, not counting water, if you pay for it. The dryer also uses about 50 cents per load.
