We don't let nature take it's course because women see everysingle little problem about them selves. this is why you always her so much about plastic surgery and stuff because most women may feel insecure about one thing. Like most women want tons of makeup on even if there is one pimple. Some want liposuction if they have a gut. I use make up because about a year ago i broke out all over my forehead and now i have alot of scars. Most women are also looking at all their imperfections just because they want to look good for one guy but then it turns out it doesn't matter. Women just want to feel good about them selves just like guys do. I have seen my friend get picky about what he should wear.

I am not one of those women. I go 99% of the year without makeup on. I think that the biggest reason though is because of the imperfections that we see and feel the need to cover it up, especially things like wrinkles and pimples.

by experience I tell you. makeup...tastefully applied and not globbed on tells about you (well, some). and its always of good taste to wear makeup if you're going to a wedding, a party....etc.
I've been wearing cosmetics since I was 15, today I am 41 and though I have changed the styles, I never leave the house without "at least" lipstick.
again, makeup...whether alittle or alot...tells something about you.

I agree. My girlfriend doesn't use makeup since I insist that natural beauty is best. Women should use make up every once in a while but not everyday. I agree with you there. You eventually see your girlfriend with the make up off.
Unless they sleep with the make up on like those soap operas. Ha

I am pretty natural, but for the most part women wear more make up at times to hide a flaw or perhaps a blemish or two.

I guess the teenagers and young women want to emphasize their beauty. They aren't using cover ups like older women. They just want to stand out, maybe it is like a mating ritual, to get a man for themselves.
If there was no actual "make up" people could still make it from mountain ores or from blue berries, strawberries for lipstick, and there is always kohl, for black eyeliner.

You forget we are animals. Both sexes have tendencies to try and attract the opposite sex.
However, there are women who do take it overboard, but dont judge all of us on the girls who think hooker blue is an appropriate all over eyeshadow shade.
Make up is really supposed to enhance what you have.

make up is so much fun though. you look different than you have for the last 16 years. i love make up. if there was no make up we would use anything that would enhance our beauty. some plants have a colourful dye in them. great for blush or lipstick

They are usually inscure. Women love to look their best and if makeup helps make them look better, so be it.
