The same problem their predecessors faced during their teen ages.
A teenager feels that he/she has become matured enough to take their own decision.
A teenager begins to develop sexual attraction towards the opposite sex.
A teenager is fascinated by the glitterings- may be in cinema, in politics, in consumerism etc.
And the tragedy is that he/she finds a potential enemy in his/her parents who hold a different idea about their child.
No doubt, the teenagers are with a lot of problems.

Teenagers mostly fall into the pit of dispair in thinking that everything has to happen now and they need to realize that everything happens later, depending on how many mistakes you make, or how much preparing for the future you do now. Don't let your High School years be your time of glory. That's not the real world. Be respective of your parents and get on with your life as an adult after 18.

Actually I think the main problem with a lot of teenagers is the fact that the parents are not being parents. They are more worried about them self rather than take the time they need to take to ensure thier teen gets the guidence and education they need.

And if by chance they have parents that care and try to direct them they are too rebelious to respect their parents and listen to them.
