I'm with you on this one! My 3 nephews particularly are a tricky bunch. Like the other lady said, as they get older it gets harder. I used to be able to find really good stocking fillers and those kind of presents were always really fun and popular. Now the boys are older and more sophisticated it's become harder to find suitable things that are not going to break the bank! Especially as I have to get 3 of everything. . . . .
But on a general note, I think the reason it's so difficult to buy presents for people is that people pretty much have everything they want nowadays. And the stuff they don't have is usually becuase it's too expensive to afford, so that would prevent somebody else buying for them as a present aswell!

I love Christmas so I never let the season mess up my mind by shopping in December. I always start in August and finish way before Thanksgiving. So I am never disappointed by Christmas. But since you can't find anything why not just give them all gift cards and you won't have to fret anymore.

I agree with F.T. about the best part of Christmas. it is the people, food, and good times that I cherish.
Having said that, though, I managed to figure out things to buy for everyone. It was a bit of a pain because indeed everyone has pretty much what they need. So I got a bit creative. It worked out, and I didn't spend a fortune.

Happy Christmas to all who celebrate
And peace and good will to everyone!

Yep know exactly where you are coming from that is why I bought a bunch of gift cards and really nice Hallmark cards to put them in. That way they can get what they want. Also did some online shopping too and that was great,it went to their houses(they live out of state) and I didn't have to wrap them and stand in line at Post Office to mail any of them either LOL

Finished! Mostly using the Internet. We have gone for all smallish gifts, but they match people's personalities. A good place to look for daft presents is Hawkin's Bazaar. We filled up stockings for our neices and nephews with stuff from there. You need to get your skates on tho'. Also Letterbox for stuff for the kids.

It sure seems like everyone has anything anymore. Gift cards, food, wine, clothes, what more can you get these people? Personally, my favorite part of Christmas is getting everyone together, feasting, and making merry!
