Even though I have only plants that are supposed to be safe for cats, I still keeps them up and away from them. I use a lot of hanging pots, etc., so he can't get near them. The thing is, even if he eats some that are fine to eat, he will still hack up the leaves afterwards. Not a fun thing to step on in the morning. Yuck!!! I found that terrariums work well too, or on shelves that there is no way he can jump to or on.

Poinsettias.

I'll get flamed for that, but we have a greenhouse with thousands of poinsettias. Everynow and again a cat decides to play with or eat the foliage. None of the cats have ever died from it despite the myth.
