Hmm, that sounds strange.
Did you put some catnip in you're house before or something?
We have lots of regular houseplants that can bought from any shop or plant shop and our 2 cats have no problems what so ever. They do really enjoy catnip toys though.
What do you mean exactly by intoxicated - do you mean like with catnip - like a cat getting high or do you mean literally being poisoned?
Cats regularly like to eat grass, this helps them regurgitate hair-balls.

well, you can put pine cones in and around the bottom of the pot to discourage the fro picking.

No lilies....the pollen is poisonous to cats.
