When I apply mascara my lashes just end up looking like the ends of a broom. I dont know how to use them and I need to know how to fix them without a curler.

First, dont buy a cheap brand.

Second, throw old mascara out. They only last around 4-5 months.

Third, dont pump your mascara, it doesnt get more on the wand and all you're doing is getting air into the tube. it makes it dry out quicker.

I dont have long lush lashes, but when I do this it makes them look fantastic.

Start by getting as close to the base as possible and wiggle it a little to make sure the hair gets seperated. Then as you go up go slow and zig-zag a bit so you get an egan coat. Repeat if desired.

Take on old toothbrush and brush them up, it'll get rid of any clumps and help seperate them more.

Good luck!

It helps to hold a compact mirror under your chin and look down into the mirror as you brush your lashes instead of looking forward into an upright mirror. That way, you cover your entire lash, instead of just half. After you apply your mascara, brush them with a lash brush, wiggling the brush to seperate the lashes. You might want to add another coat after brushing them, it just depends on how dark/full you want them to look.

Also, NEVER curl your lashes after applying mascara! Mascara is like a glue, so you might just end up pulling out some lashes when you release the curler (ouch).

Make sure when you apply you do not push hard. The lighter you press the more 'featherd' therefore natural they will look. You can do this by turning your wrist round so you apply with the opposite hand to your eye with the point in the corner of your eye. Thats how i do it!!
