Luck is defined as preparation and opportunity coming together. Luck is often regarded as a superstition; a chance happening of fortune, but it can be interpreted in many ways.
Coincidence is the noteworthy alignment of two or more events or circumstances without obvious causal connection. The word is derived from the Latin co- ("in," "with," "together") and incidere ("to fall on").

What's the difference? Luck is just a fanicer word for coincidence. Do I believe in luck(coincidence) or fate?

For me, luck is when something good happens, or maybe even bad if it's not good luck. Coincidence is when something just seems to happen that relates to another thing. However, they can coincide...

Luck implies that you can influence events in your favor such as carrying a good luck charm. I will take coincidence as no one has ever tried to sell me a coincidence charm.

Yes i do. A person Who wins a multi-state lottery is lucky. If you're on your way home and you think you are going to see an accident and you do that's coincidence.
