Okay, depo causes sporadic bleeding, it will settle down. And you will not have regular periods. Do you know that you were pregnant? If so see a doctor there may be a problem, if not a little warning, I have a 4 year old that was concieved because I was one week late getting my depo shot. I had been on the shot since it first came out in 1994, I was told it would be real hard for me to get pregnant for several months after I stopped taking the shot. WRONG. Also I got the depo shot after I concieved,(didn't know) it does not cause harm to the baby. It prevents you from producing eggs, that is all, there is no harm to the baby.

I was on the depo shot for almost 5 yrs...made me loose my sex drive and I gained like 100 lbs getting it!! Stopped getting them and my sex drive came back...the doctor (the quack that she was!) told me...it's gonna take at least a year to get your system back to normal..I didn't have a period for almost 5 yrs being on it...LOVED THAT...weight gain...could have lived withOUT that!!! Guess what?! Got my sex drive back...had unprotected sex once with my boyfriend...now husband and Adam was conceived less that 2 months of being off it..DEPO IS BAD!! UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE FAT AND HAVE NO SEX DRIVE...then why take the shot?! RIGHT?!
