I want to feel safe. To feel free. To have a family that loves me and that I love. To be able to go to work at a job I love and am good at. To send my daughter to a good school where she will be safe and get a good education by reputable and talented teachers. To make enough money to pay my bills and set some aside to save. To sleep in on Saturdays, and be able to worship at the place of my choice in the manner I choose. To be free to join whatever clubs I want, and to be able to be active in my government. That's what I want. And I am very thankful to have those things!!!

Fewer questions that imply Americans all think the same. Like one huge lockstepping all praise to the great leader slogan chanting mass.

I think it can be summed up this simply: FREEDOM.

The freedom and ability to make their own choices in life. The freedom to do what needs to be done to better their lives and their families. To just live their lives without having to worry about people elsewhere in the world who want to kill them for a difference in politics, religion, race, etc.

To be able to just go to work, make a living, raise children withough having to go through hours of bureaucratic bullshit that our government creates to make more meaningless jobs, designed to needlessly complicate our lives and blur things so we don't see how they're trying to further screw over the majority of the population.

In essence, we want freedom to live our lives and we want our government and terrorists and criminals to just leave us the **** ALONE!

I want many things, you will have to be specific. Mostly freedom from any entity who would presume to tell me how I must live as long as I'm not harming anyone else.

yeah, what bennyjoe said.
