Clearly Mercury IS big enough to hold a satellite; it's the same size as Pluto. Venus is substantially larger.

Just because they don't have one doesn't mean that the can't. Don't listen to the people who say their gravity isn't strong enough because Pluto has three moons and its gravity is far less than Venus or mercury. This site has some info about Pluto's moons.

yes and that mercurys gravity cant support. another thing is that there hasnt been any celestial bodies that has come lose of a contact to become moons of venus and mercury.
