I hope this is not your Homework assignment - I'd advice u to take the trouble of finding it out on your own in that case as it will help you to get your concepts clearer. You can refer to an Atlas for the same.
If a Chinese were to travel to India, the bountains and bodies of water he'd cross would depend on where in China he set out from and which route he'd take.
It is best that you look at an atlas - at the physical map of Asia in order to get a more accurate idea depending on where this person would leave China and where this person would arrive in India. The longer or the more indented the route, the greater the possibility of covering more landforms.
I will give you a very general idea however. This general idea may not be accurate - so i'd suggest you clarify it from an atlas. I think www.wikipedia.com would have a map to help you.
The General Guideline
If he is all the way on the other side of China and wants to fly to India, he'd probably cross the Hwang Ho and Yangtse Kiang river, fly across the Gobi Desert, may be some of the mountain ranges of China, or the Plateau, the Himalayas, The Northern Plains including the Ganga and its tributeries etc. After that it would depend on where in India he'd want to land
If he is coming by road and rail he may have to avoid certain mountains or go via certain mountain passes and take the route followed by the road or railway.
By Sea , he would have to cross the South China Sea, the Bay of Bengal etc. and this route would be via Indonesia.
Hope this helps
