Schedule an appointment with your boss for a performance review. During this review ask him if there are areas of your performance that are good and any that need improving on. If his appraisal of your performance is generally positive ask him how often the company considers pay raises. If his appraisal is negative, ask him if improving these areas could lead to a raise in the future, and try and lock him into a time frame on that.
Honestly, I would just start looking for another job. If your company only thinks you are worth $250 per week, and not worth getting a pay increase in over two years, one of the follow is true:
1) The company sucks.
2) The company thinks you suck.
3) The company are tight and don't want to part with money.
In any case, this doesn't sound like a good long term relationship. Start looking for a new job in the new year and get something better. Read the book What Color Is Your Parachute.

i do no longer ask for a enhance because of the fact i comprehend that the enterprise is already suffering, i might probable get the enhance yet then my boss would desire to be envious of having to do it faster then he replaced into gentle. whilst situations have been given annoying the folk who did no longer provide a crap appropriate to the enterprise have been people who wound up jobless to boot as people who have been severe paid yet whos jobs others would desire to do for much less money (which os incredibly ANY job). I artwork very annoying and make good money for the enterprise, i gets a enhance whilst the enterprise can arise with the money for it i'm thoroughly particular of that. i'm additionally no longer grossly UNDERpaid the two which makes it greater handy to hold off on will improve. I even have not had a enhance in 5 years yet I even have had a job collectively as many have not. and that i haven't had a pay cut back the place as many enterprise's cut back workers pay.i like job protection.

Ask your boss "May I have a raise?". Do not however say you'll quit. Unless you've got a new job lined up.

look for another job, or tell the boss that you have been offered a job closer to your home that is paying 295. if he doesnt offer you more to stay, leave. they want slaves, not employees. move on...
